I launched a browser-based daily geography game. It is live, functional, and mobile-friendly. playmapish.com
Right now it has approximately 5 to 7 daily active users. There is essentially no distribution.
I am hiring a growth marketer to take ownership of user acquisition and grow the game to 100 real daily active users within 60 days.
This is a marketing role only. I am not looking for product feedback, development work, SEO audits, or strategy decks. The product exists. The goal is traction.
Scope of Work:
• Develop and execute a focused 60-day growth plan
• Identify and test 1 to 3 acquisition channels
• Create and publish short-form content if appropriate
• Engage relevant online communities (Reddit, TikTok, X, etc.)
• Run small paid experiments if justified
• Track DAU and report weekly
• Iterate based on performance
Primary Milestone:
Reach 100 verified daily active users within 60 days.
To qualify for the performance bonus, the game must either:
• Sustain 100+ daily active users for 3 consecutive days, or
• Reach 100 DAU with at least 30% next-day retention at that level
This is to ensure growth is real and not just a one-day spike.
Compensation Structure:
• $250 fixed milestone for the 60-day growth sprint
• $1,250 performance milestone upon reaching the defined DAU and retention criteria
All payments will be processed through Upwork milestones.
This is a bootstrapped validation project. If this sprint produces real traction, I am open to continuing the engagement with expanded scope and budget.
Ideal Candidate:
• Has personally grown a consumer app, tool, game, or media product from near-zero
• Is comfortable being measured on outcomes
• Can execute independently
• Understands internet culture and distribution mechanics
