Job Summary
The Real Estate Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance in relation to appraisal regulations.
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ensures all lenders are following required regulations for appraisal and evaluation requests
• Orders appraisal requests within appraisal vendor management software, The Mercury Network
• Reviews residential and commercial appraisals for compliance with regulation
• Prepares in-house real estate evaluations for all lenders in all counties
• Prepares real estate validations for all lenders in all counties
• Adheres to guidelines set by appraisal regulation and internal real estate policy to ensure compliance
• Serves as communication liaison between lenders and appraisers; responds to phone calls and emails received daily from lenders and appraisers with various needs and/or questions
