This role focuses on sourcing high quality acquisition targets within the automotive software sector and involves managing a pipeline of acquisition prospects.
Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and qualify new acquisition prospects across the global automotive software landscape
- Manage a pipeline of existing prospects, build strong relationships, and serve as the primary point of contact to maintain momentum and trust
- Assess company performance and financial health—including growth drivers, revenue mix, and customer retention—to determine whether prospects should advance to M&A execution
Skills
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and articulate business models
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Comfortable initiating cold outreach and communicating with C‑level executives at small and mid‑sized companies
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in business (e.g., BBA, BCom)—from a leading university
- Experience with Salesforce is beneficial but not required
- An MBA is an asset but not required
