Job Summary and Qualifications
The Revenue Cycle Support Specialist is responsible for providing cross trained support in the following areas: Cash Posting, Claims Resolution, Credit Balance, EDI Billing, and Treasury. The Specialist will perform primary duties within legacy systems with new acquisitions and migrations, and will serve as a secondary resource as business needs dictate coverage.
What you will do in this role:
Create and update patient accounts with appropriate demographic and insurance information
Create claims based on coding guidelines
Perform follow up on aged AR in compliance with departmental policies and procedures
Post and balances all payments received in a timely and accurate manner
Resubmit primary and secondary claims
Identify potential claim issues and escalate to management
Review, identify, and resolve payor denials
Ensure adjustments are posted timely and correctly for claims that need to be adjusted
Ability to multitask on several projects daily
What you will need:
Minimum one year related healthcare experience preferred.
Experience in eCw, EPIC, Practice Velocity, Artiva, Patient Keeper preferred.
