Description:
CTG is seeking an experienced SAM Functional Consultant / Lead to drive the implementation and optimization of SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) solutions. This role is ideal for a senior SAP professional with deep expertise in S/4HANA, asset management, and mobile service solutions.
Location: Remote (candidates must be able to travel up to 50% to Plano, TX; Purchase, NY; and Winston-Salem, NC)
Duration: 12 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle implementation of SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM)
- Translate business requirements into SAP S/4HANA solutions (EAM, CS, MM, SD, Finance)
- Configure and optimize mobile/offline capabilities for field technicians
- Drive integration across SAP modules and ensure data consistency
- Develop functional specifications, testing strategies, and execute UAT support
- Conduct stakeholder workshops, training sessions, and provide post-go-live support
- Manage equipment lifecycle processes, including installation, transfer, and servicing
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of SAP experience, including 3+ years with SSAM / Work Manager / SAP Asset Manager
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA architecture and integrations
- Deep knowledge of EAM (PM) and/or Customer Service (CS) processes
- Experience with mobile SAP solutions and offline functionality
- Proven ability to lead implementations and interact with business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with S/4HANA Customer Service (CS)
- Background in Asset Management or Field Service operations
- Familiarity with SAP MDG for equipment and asset master data
- Exposure to tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), or ServiceNow
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $135,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
