Key Responsibilities:
? Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students.
? Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
? Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations for student support services.
? Deliver direct counseling and therapeutic services to students, addressing academic, emotional, and social challenges.
? Facilitate crisis intervention and provide support for students experiencing acute emotional distress.
? Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed.
Requirements:
? Active School Psychologist license in the state of California.
? Master?s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
? Previous experience working in a K-12 school setting is highly preferred.
? Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education laws.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams.
