About the role:
We are seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our team on an initial 3-month contract (maternity leave cover), with an immediate start in mid-April. There is strong potential for extension or a permanent opportunity, depending on business needs and performance.
This role offers a balanced mix of recruitment delivery and operational coordination.
Key Requirements (Essential)
- Proven experience recruiting within the Australian Government (state or federal) or strong exposure to MSP (Managed Service Provider) environments in Australia
- Strong phone-based candidate management and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to manage end-to-end recruitment processes in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Service Delivery
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies on a role-by-role basis, managing end-to-end delivery
- Attend client briefings (via phone or video) to understand hiring requirements
- Proactively source, screen, and assess suitable candidates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates
- Ensure contractor compliance requirements are met
- Manage ongoing contractor relationships
- Contribute to business development initiatives
- Build your professional brand within your specialization
Support & Coordination
- Coordinate and schedule interviews for the team
- Format and prepare CVs to a high standard
- Submit candidate profiles via VMS platforms or email
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports
- Monitor shared inboxes and manage communications efficiently
- Support helpdesk requests and internal coordination tasks
- Ensure compliance and documentation accuracy
- Assist with ad hoc tasks as required
