This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant – Social Media & Creative to manage day-to-day social media operations and support the execution of an existing marketing strategy. This role is responsible for turning marketing goals and audience insights into engaging content that reflects the brand voice and visual identity.
The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and able to work independently while supporting broader marketing initiatives over time. This role will primarily focus on social media management, with opportunities to contribute to email marketing, advertising, and campaign support.
• Manage and maintain the company’s social media channels
• Plan and schedule content based on the existing marketing strategy
• Create engaging posts, graphics, captions, and simple video or reel content
• Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across platforms
• Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages when appropriate
• Track social media performance and recommend improvements for reach and engagement
• Write clear, compelling, and on-brand copy for social media content
• Brainstorm content ideas, hooks, and creative concepts aligned with campaigns and promotions
• Assist with email marketing and advertising campaigns
• Help track marketing performance and campaign results
• Support digital marketing efforts including ads and promotions
• Organize marketing materials and maintain content calendars
Requirements
• Experience managing social media for a brand or business
• Strong creative thinking and ability to translate strategy into content
• Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe, or similar tools
• Familiarity with content scheduling tools and social media analytics
• Experience creating graphics, simple videos, or reels for social media
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills
• Organized and able to manage tasks independently
• Good communication, time management, and reliability
• Interest in learning broader digital marketing skills such as email marketing, ads, and performance tracking
• Experience with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social platforms
• Familiarity with email marketing tools
• Basic knowledge of digital advertising and marketing analytics
• Ability to follow a marketing strategy and execute consistently
