Position Summary AUIB is seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Officer to drive its mission of attracting and hiring high-quality talent to support academic excellence and institutional growth. In this pivotal role, the Talent Acquisition Officer will support the full recruitment cycle, coordinate interview processes, maintain candidate pipelines, and enhance the university’s employer brand while ensuring a positive candidate experience. Key Responsibilities - Recruitment Coordination: Support end-to-end recruitment processes for academic and administrative positions, including posting vacancies and coordinating hiring workflows. - Interview Logistics: Organize interviews, schedule panels, prepare recruitment materials, and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process. - Candidate Experience: Ensure professional and timely communication with applicants while maintaining a positive and engaging recruitment experience. - Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and support preparation of weekly and monthly recruitment reports. - Talent Pipeline Development: Support sourcing initiatives and maintain talent pools for future vacancies while assisting with recruitment process improvements. Ideal Candidate Profile - Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple recruitment tasks and deadlines efficiently. - Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills for interacting with candidates and hiring teams. - Attention to Detail: Ability to manage candidate data, documentation, and recruitment processes accurately. - Collaborative Mindset: Works effectively with HR colleagues and hiring managers to achieve recruitment goals. - Professional Integrity: Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates professionalism in handling sensitive HR information. Education and Experience - Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Years of Relevant Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in recruitment or HR support roles. - Specific Skills or Expertise: Recruitment coordination, applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate sourcing, Microsoft Office proficiency, and recruitment reporting. - Additional Certifications: HR-related certifications are considered an advantage but not required. - Personal Attributes: Organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, service-oriented, and aligned with AUIB’s institutional values of integrity, professionalism, and academic excellence.   #LI-REMOTE About Company Application Requirements: To be considered for any role at the American University of Iraq—Baghdad (AUIB), applicants are required to submit the following documents: - Cover letter: Detail how your skills and experience align with the specific requirements of the position you are applying for. - Resume/Curriculum Vitae: Provide an up-to-date resume or CV. - Identification: A valid national ID or passport is required for the application process.
