We're a boutique influencer marketing agency working with premium consumer brands. We're exploring building out a live shopping offering for TikTok Shop and want to talk to someone who has actually done this - not theoretically, but in the trenches.
We're NOT looking for someone to execute a campaign right now. We want a seasoned consultant who can help us understand:
- How live shopping productions actually work end-to-end on TikTok Shop
- Casting: what makes a great live shopping host, where to find them, how to vet them
- Set and production: what level of production is needed, what setups actually convert vs. look good on paper
- The economics: realistic GMV expectations, commission structures, how brands should think about ROI
- What separates a high-performing live from a dead one
- Pitfalls we'd be walking into as an agency building this from scratch
Who we're looking for:
Someone who has either run TikTok Shop live productions directly, built a live shopping operation, or consulted for brands/agencies doing this at a real scale. You should have strong opinions based on experience - not best guesses.
Brand-side, agency-side, or independent operator background all fine. U.S. market experience preferred, but open to candidates with cross-market experience given how much further live shopping is developed in other markets.

This starts as a paid consulting advisory engagement. If it's a fit, there may be an ongoing role as we build this out.
