Virtual Social Worker for Michigan Students – Full-Time Position
Position Type: Full-Time, 1099 Contract
Start Date: January 2025
Caseload: PreK-12th Grade
Pay Range: $43-48/hr (DOE)
Overview:
VocoVision is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker to provide virtual social work services to students in Michigan. Help make a difference in students? lives while working from the comfort of your own home.
Responsibilities:
? Conduct remote assessments to evaluate students’ social and emotional well-being.
? Provide virtual counseling, behavioral support, and therapy to students with a variety of emotional needs.
? Create and implement effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
? Work with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop student support plans.
? Participate in IEP meetings and assist with student goal setting.
? Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements.
Qualifications:
? Master?s degree in Social Work (MSW).
? Current Michigan Social Worker license from LARA.
? School Social Worker approval from the Michigan Department of Education or a temporary approval (310 form).
? At least two years of experience in a school-based setting preferred.
? Experience in providing virtual services is a plus but not required.
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
