WordPress Developer – Dataverse Integration & Data Visualization Support (Ongoing Project)

Apply Now
WordPress Developer – Dataverse Integration & Data Visualization Support (Ongoing Project) We have a custom WordPress-based portal that's midway through development. The core site build is well underway — we need a developer who can step in and own the data layer and visualization work that connects WordPress to Microsoft Dataverse or work alongside our internal dev team to assist with skill gaps. US APPLICANTS Encouraged to Apply. We have a strict 7 week deadline to finish (probably 65% done already) Ongoing support, maintenance, etc. will be requested. This is NOT a full site build. You'd be working alongside our existing developer and PM to fill specific gaps. Where We Need Help: • Querying Microsoft Dataverse from WordPress using the Dataverse Integration plugin and FetchXML • Rendering that data in WordPress using Twig templates • Building interactive charts and data visualizations (radar charts, bar charts, comparison dashboards) using wpDataTables, Chart.js, or embedded Power BI • Ensuring data pulled from Dataverse displays correctly within custom page layouts that are already designed • Troubleshooting and optimizing bidirectional data flows — some user-edited data in WordPress needs to write back to Dataverse What You Should Know: • FetchXML — writing and tuning queries against Dataverse tables • Twig — templating data output within WordPress • Chart.js and/or wpDataTables — building responsive, styled charts from dynamic data • WordPress custom development — you're comfortable working in themes/templates, not just page builders • Power BI embedded dashboards is a plus but not required Project Context: • The site architecture, UI/UX designs, and core WordPress build are already in place • Multiple external systems feed data through Dataverse (CRM, LMS, assessments) — you don't need to build those integrations from scratch, but you need to understand how to query and display what's already flowing in • You'll be collaborating with an existing team, not working solo • NDA required before sharing full documentation and system access Ideal Engagement: • Part-time or flexible hours over the next 6–10 weeks • Hourly rate — share yours in your proposal • Availability to overlap with US Central Time for occasional syncs In Your Proposal: Tell me about your experience with FetchXML/Dataverse and building data visualizations in WordPress. Links to relevant work or a brief description of a similar integration project is more useful than a generic portfolio.
