About the role:
At Turing, we are looking for an accomplished PHP Tech Lead who will work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and adopt the best practices of test-driven development. Responsibilities
– Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and deliver cutting-edge software systems
– Ensure to adhere to development methodologies and standards
– Encourage code reviews for quality assurance
– Provide technical guidance to development team members and share feedback
– Produce high-quality application engineering deliverables in accordance with the project timeline
– Provide thought leadership and technical guidance to engineering staff
Requirements
– Bachelor?s/Master?s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
– Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in PHP development
– Working experience in the software development domain with a focus on PHP with Node and Angular
– Hands-on experience in object-oriented Design principles and patterns
– Solid knowledge of the following frameworks – Laravel, PHP Yii 2
– Expertise in using the latest engineering tools, i.e. Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Git, etc.
– Hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs
– Exposure to relational databases, such as MySQL, and NoSQL databases, like MongoDB
– Strong understanding of web design and development frameworks
– Fluency in English to ensure smooth communication with international teams/stakeholders
– Comfortable with working full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4-hour overlap with US time zones
