Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Extend Integration Studio Consultant to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integrations within the Workday platform, leveraging expertise in service-oriented architecture, solution architecture, and various integration tools. This role requires a strong background in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, and cloud technologies to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability across enterprise environments. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient integration solutions aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy integrations using Workday Extend Integration Studio, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards. • Develop and maintain APIs, web services (SOAP/RESTful), and other integration points utilizing technologies such as Java, C#, Python, and scripting languages. • Implement system architecture best practices including load balancing, system hardening, cloud security (AWS, Azure), and virtualization (VMware, ESXi). • Collaborate with solution architects to define integration strategies involving microservices, SOA, and cloud-native architectures. • Conduct system analysis for performance tuning, troubleshooting issues related to system design or network configurations such as VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP. • Perform vulnerability assessments and manage security protocols related to information security threats and threat intelligence. • Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Git for efficient development cycles. • Participate in SDLC processes ensuring compliance with best practices in DevOps, system administration, and system management. • Document technical specifications and provide ongoing support for existing integrations while identifying opportunities for process improvements. Qualifications • Proven experience with Workday Extend platform and Integration Studio development environment. • Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture, API development (REST/SOAP), and system design principles. • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Microsoft SQL Server), PL/SQL. • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure; virtualization technologies like VMware or ESXi; container orchestration such as Kubernetes. • Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows/Linux), networking protocols (DNS/DHCP), firewalls, VPNs. • Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools; version control systems like Git. • Experience working within Agile methodologies; understanding of SDLC processes. • Ability to perform vulnerability management and system hardening; knowledge of cybersecurity best practices including threat intelligence and information security protocols. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging complex issues across diverse systems.
