The Role We’re seeking a motivated Junior AI Software Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about building AI-driven applications and eager to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. You’ll work alongside seasoned engineers, data scientists, and product managers to develop intelligent features that make a real impact in digital products. Key Responsibilities • Contribute to the development of AI/ML-powered features for both web and mobile applications. • Build and maintain APIs, backend services, and scripts that connect to machine learning workflows. • Assist with model deployment, testing, and monitoring in production environments. • Partner with senior engineers and data scientists to understand and enhance AI pipelines. • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. • Participate in team standups, code reviews, and agile sprint cycles. Requirements • At least 2 year of software development experience. • Proficiency in Python, plus familiarity with another language such as JavaScript, Java, or Go. • Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts and experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. • Experience with APIs (REST/GraphQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is an advantage. • Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative workflows. • Eagerness to learn new tools and adapt in a fast-paced setting. Preferred Skills • Practical experience from personal, academic, or open-source AI/ML projects. • Knowledge of data handling formats (JSON, CSV, Parquet) and libraries like Pandas or NumPy. • Exposure to containerization (Docker) or model-serving tools (Flask, FastAPI). • Interest in natural language processing, computer vision, or large language models. Soft Skills • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn from peers and mentors. • Proactive communication and a collaborative mindset. • Enjoys problem-solving and writing code that creates real-world value.
