LabVantage LIMS/ELN Developer / Specialist

Job Summary: The LabVantage LIMS/ELN candidate will be responsible for administration of LabVantage LIMS/ELN instances within the Research & Development business area. Responsibilities include development, configuration of the LabVantage LIMS/ELN based on user requirements, conducting testing, and authoring/reviewing supporting documentation as part of the implementation. Key Responsibilities: • Provide development and administration support for both Non-GxP (primarily) and GxP LabVantage LIMS/ELN systems to support multiple initiatives in Research & Development. • Develop custom reports, labels (with barcodes), and configure label printers in the LabVantage LIMS/ELN. • Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, timely execution of work, collaboration with scientists, IT colleagues, and vendors are essential to ensure maximum productivity for the bench scientists as well as to ensure the integrity of both the laboratory data collected and the systems used to collect the data • Collaborate with stakeholders on system implementation, integration, and administration. • Participate in installation, documentation, and testing of systems. • Test changes/enhancements through dry runs and gather feedback from lab users when required. • Set up verification testing as appropriate for the system. • Assist with User Acceptance Testing for system functionality changes. • Collaborate with laboratory, manufacturing, analytical support, and IT teams to ensure needs and requirements are accurately reflected in lab systems. • Author, revise, and review validation/system documentation related to changes made to the system. • Contribute to the development of associated training materials and train users on system functionality. • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues and problems. • Review current systems to identify and recommend improvements. • Communicate technical issues and status updates to team members and management. Qualifications: • Minimum B.S. degree in a relevant scientific, computer, or engineering field with at least 5 years of experience. • Proficient knowledge of LabVantage LIMS/ELN. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Access, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word) and/or other relevant software programs. • Ability to work independently to complete assignments within defined timelines. • Skilled in executing changes in lab systems, proactively identifying problems, troubleshooting issues, and developing solutions. • Understanding of GxPs, regulatory requirements, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and computer systems validation (CSV). • Strong judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to develop solutions independently. • Ability to take initiative, prioritize objectives across multiple projects, and adhere to timelines while remaining flexible. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed with strong professional integrity. • Strong problem-solving ability, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with a service-oriented, team-first mindset. • Commitment to contributing to a collaborative, positive environment with clarity of purpose and alignment to business goals. • Ability to manage multiple complex projects requiring independent action and initiative.
