Lighting Designer

Lighting Beyond is a startup firm focused on innovative architectural lighting design, seeking a creative and technically-minded Architectural Lighting Designer. The role involves supporting projects from concept to completion, collaborating with the design team to develop lighting solutions. Responsibilities Assist in the development of lighting design concepts for architectural projects Produce lighting layouts and technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD Prepare presentation materials, renderings, and reports Perform lighting calculations and photometric analysis Support the team in project documentation and coordination with architects and engineers Participate in internal design discussions and client meetings as needed Contribute to maintaining organized project files and documentation Skills Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience working at a lighting company Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Interest in learning and growing within the field of architectural lighting Familiarity with AGI32 or other lighting calculation software Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) Experience with Bluebeam for document review and markup A portfolio that demonstrates a mix of technical and creative lighting work Benefits Work directly with the founders and shape the culture of a startup firm.
