Stella Rising is seeking a highly motivated SEM Manager to support the maintenance and growth of search services across performance and brand strategy with expertise in beauty, CPG, and retail and business services. The right candidate should be customer centric, data driven, detail oriented, and possess a love for driving results. The right candidate must be able work proficiently in a remote environment but love getting together in person with clients, the team, and at our company sponsored events. As SEM Manager you are independently developing and implementing effective paid search strategies that align with client goals and objectives. In this position, you will own end to end campaign management including strategizing, implementing, and managing SEM campaigns across various platforms such as Google, Bing, and YouTube. You will be responsible for building and executing flawless campaign setup, leading client calls and reporting. Collaborating with cross-channel teams, you will work to align your SEM strategy with the overall client goals. Regular responsibilities but not limited to: • Manage multiple client relationships including strategy, execution, and reporting including client presentations (decks and speaking on calls) with strong support from your client or channel lead. • Working closely with designated client leads to ensure seamless collaboration, execution, and communication (80%+ of your time should be dedicated towards your clients and client teams) • Own end-to-end paid search strategy and execution (strategy development, keyword and audience research, campaign builds and implementation, budget pacing, ongoing performance analysis and optimizations, reporting, client management, A/B testing, etc.) across all search engines, channels and tactics applying industry and Stella best practices. • Apply knowledge of keyword, competitive, and audience research to develop and adjust strategy to achieve or exceed performance expectations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, SEO, and creative teams to align SEM initiatives with overall marketing goals. • Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the SEM team, it’s talent, and key department initiatives (training, SOPs, ongoing testing, etc.) • Bring industry trends, new advertising technologies, Betas, and best practices to team to advance our position as an authority in SEM advertising. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Proven experience in producing strong results in paid search strategy and execution (brand and performance preferred). • Certifications in both Google Ads & Microsoft Ads • Experience working with automated bidding strategies (SA360 and other bid management platforms). • Ability to collaborate as a team as well as work autonomously. • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to solve client concerns. • Strong project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail. • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to lead client-facing calls. • Advanced experience of MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint. • Proficiency across primary platforms – Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads Editor, Microsoft Ads Editor • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
