As a remote opportunity, this position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team. As a Math Instructor / Tutor, you'll play a critical role in delivering individualized instruction to students in a group setting, assessing their learning progress, and communicating with parents and guardians. Key Responsibilities As a Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium, you'll be responsible for: Leading, coaching, and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality instruction Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions Communicating student progress with parents and guardians Teaching/tutoring in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment Assisting with administrative tasks as needed Essential Qualifications To be successful as a Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium, you'll need: A passion for math and working with students Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members Eagerness to learn and be trained on the Mathnasium Method and teaching methodologies Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I The ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in teaching or tutoring math Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools Experience working with students in grades 2-12 What We Offer At Mathnasium, we're committed to providing our team members with a rewarding and supportive work environment.
