Product Development Manager for 8 Figure Amazon FBA Brand

We are looking for a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our fast-growing Amazon FBA brand. This person will own the entire lifecycle of new product development - from idea generation, to validation, sourcing, testing, launch, and post-launch optimization. This is a full-time role. You will play a key role in expanding our product range in kitchen & home, ensuring each product meets our standards of quality, innovation, and profitability. Responsibilities (not limited to): 1. Product Research & Market Validation 2. Identify high-potential product opportunities through Amazon data, competitive analysis, and consumer trends. 3. Evaluate market demand, keyword potential, review sentiment, and category competitiveness. 4. Conduct deep competitor analysis to identify product gaps and improvement opportunities. 5. Build data-driven business cases for new product ideas. 6. Product Development & Sourcing 7. Work with suppliers to develop product samples, iterate improvements, and ensure quality. 8. Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and terms with manufacturers. 9. Ensure all products meet compliance and safety requirements in target markets (US, UK, EU, CA). 10. Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager for forecasting and ordering plans. 11. Project Management 12. Own the entire new product development pipeline end-to-end. 13. Manage timelines, milestones, and communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders. 14. Prepare documentation for packaging, inserts, and brand assets in collaboration with the creative team. 15. Coordinate with PPC, brand, graphics, and operations teams to prepare for launch. 16. Provide product specs, benefits, and differentiation points for listing creation. 17. Ensure the product is delivered on time, labeled correctly, and Amazon-compliant. Requirements / Must-Have: - Proven experience in Amazon product development or similar role (2+ years minimum). - Strong analytical skills — ability to read data and make decisions. - Understanding of Amazon FBA, sourcing, manufacturing, and QC processes. - Strong communication and negotiation skills with suppliers. - Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects. - Experience with Helium10, JungleScout, DataDive or similar tools. - Experience launching products in USA and UK markets. - Understanding of compliance: FDA, CE, LFGB, etc. (depending on category).
