Apply Job Type Full-time Description Under the supervision of the Director of Education and Training, the Program Manager will be responsible for online educational initiatives, training and technical assistance development and delivery, technology platforms used to deliver training and technical assistance, materials and resources, continuing education accreditation and communications with other teams within The Fenway Institute (TFI) and Fenway Health (FH) and external partners. Project Description: The Division of Education and Training currently houses two centers funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) through National Cooperative Agreements. The Division also works on projects with health care systems and organizations nationwide to develop, deliver and implement trainings and educational resources. The National LGBT Health Education Center provides educational programs, resources, and consultation to healthcare organizations with the goal of increasing access to and optimizing quality, cost-effective health care for LGBT people. The center offers online and in-person trainings, individualized technical assistance and publications for all health center staff on topics such as SO/GI data collection, effective communication, improving clinical outcomes for LGB and transgender patients, behavioral health and HIV prevention. Representative Duties: Manages all components of the Education Center programming Ensures all learning initiative deadlines are met in a timely manner. Manages logistics of trainings, publications, learning collaboratives and partnerships. Manages evaluation collection and reporting process. Works closely with Operations Manager on grant reporting and spending. Works closely with Administrative Coordinator on scheduling and travel coordination. Develops, Writes, and Edits Publications, Reports, and Training Materials Develops and executes a webinar series. Manages the development and maintenance of online self-guided learning modules. Manages online collaborative education models, including Project ECHO training and other online learning communities. Coordinates the promotion of and recruitment for online learning initiatives. Manages Online Learning Initiatives Develops and executes a webinar series. Manages the development and maintenance of online self-guided learning modules. Manages online collaborative education models, including Project ECHO training and other online learning communities. Coordinates the promotion of and recruitment for online learning initiatives. Develops and reports the evaluation of online learning initiatives. Develops, Writes, and Edits Publications, Reports, and Training Materials Collaborates with program staff and faculty to write and edit a variety of written materials, including grant applications and reports to funders. Collaborates with team members to develop and make available toolkits, issue briefs and other online and print materials for training and technical assistance activities. Generates and analyzes Google Analytics and similar data to be included in reports to funders and grant applications. Oversees the timely completion of written materials. Manages Technical Assistance Programs Develops and maintains relationships with health center staff. Works with Director to create training content for individualized technical assistance for each partner organization. Works with Evaluation and Methodology Director to create and implement readiness assessments of organizations and to evaluate results and present to organizations. Manages logistics of virtual and in-person training sessions. Manages post-training evaluation collection and reporting process. Oversees Development and Maintenance of Software and Applications Platforms Identifies, implements and maintains the software and applications used by the Division of Education to deliver training and education, collect and distribute information, communicate with constituents, and manage day-to-day activities. In collaboration with other team members, develops and uploads content to the appropriate websites, applications, and social media sites. Works with funders and constituent organizations to deliver training and technical assistance materials as needed. Manages Continuing Education Accreditation Ensures that accreditation is maintained with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and other organizations as necessary. Oversees the documentation of CME programs. Manages the communications with the AAFP and CME Director. Develops and Presents Trainings to Health Care Organizations Helps to develop PowerPoint presentations on LGBT health topics. Delivers trainings on LGBT health topics to health care organizations as needed. Meets Agency Participatory Expectations Adheres to all agency and departmental policies and procedures. Participates in quality assessment and improvement activities as requested. Adheres to established safety policies, procedures and precautions.
