A Day in the Life You log in and start your day by reviewing project dashboards across multiple client engagements, identifying priorities and potential roadblocks. Your morning kicks off with a client steering committee meeting where you present project status, manage stakeholder expectations, and facilitate decisions on critical path items. You then dive into a requirements gathering session, meticulously documenting business processes through detailed flowcharts, user stories, and comprehensive functional specifications that will guide the technical team's implementation efforts. Midday finds you leading a cross-functional workshop to map out an end-to-end order-to-cash process, capturing every touchpoint, system integration, and data flow in your signature thorough documentation style. You update the project wiki with meeting outcomes, refine the RACI matrix, and prepare risk mitigation strategies for upcoming milestones. Between meetings, you review and enhance the standard operating procedures you've been developing, ensuring they're clear enough for any team member to execute independently. Your afternoon shifts to coaching a junior analyst on documentation best practices while simultaneously managing status updates across three different client projects. You conduct a gap analysis session, document change requests with full impact assessments, and update the master project plan with revised timelines and dependencies. Before wrapping up, you review and approve test scripts, ensuring they align with the documented requirements and acceptance criteria. As a strategic program manager and documentation expert, you understand that your detailed process maps, comprehensive project documentation, and clear communication frameworks are what keep complex implementations on track. Whether you're creating project charters, building training materials, maintaining decision logs, or developing runbooks, your exceptional documentation and project management skills ensure successful delivery and knowledge transfer. You end your day knowing that your leadership and organizational excellence have kept multiple initiatives moving forward smoothly. What You'll Do Responsibilities: • Lead and manage multiple concurrent client projects from inception to completion • Develop comprehensive project documentation including charters, project plans, status reports, and risk registers • Conduct detailed business analysis and document current/future state processes • Create and maintain detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and decision-making sessions • Build and maintain project wikis, knowledge bases, and standard operating procedures • Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables • Develop training materials and conduct knowledge transfer sessions • Coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and documentation standards • Create test plans, test scripts, and coordinate UAT activities • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members Qualifications Required: • Experience: 5-7 years in program management, business analysis, or project management roles • Documentation Excellence: Demonstrated expertise in creating comprehensive documentation including process flows, requirements documents, project plans, and technical specifications • Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects simultaneously • Business Analysis: Strong ability to analyze business processes, identify improvements, and translate business needs into actionable requirements • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to C-level executives • Tools: Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Monday, ClickUp, MS Project) and documentation tools (Confluence, SharePoint, Visio) • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail • Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority Nice to Have: • Experience with implementing and using enterprise grade ERP, CRM, HCM systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) • PMP, CBAP, or similar certifications • Experience in professional services or consulting environments • Understanding of financial and operational business processes • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Growth Mindset: Self-motivated individual who thrives in ambiguous environments and can independently drive projects to completion.
