They are seeking a Business Development Representative to generate new business opportunities, qualify leads, and support the sales pipeline, playing a key role in connecting with prospective clients. Responsibilities Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients through outbound channels (email, LinkedIn, and calling where appropriate) Qualify inbound leads and book discovery meetings that align with War Room’s ideal client profile Ensure a consistent flow of sales-qualified opportunities for the CGO Build targeted prospect lists using tools such as Apollo.ai, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms Conduct account and contact research to personalize outreach Support refinement of ICPs, personas, and targeting criteria Accurately track leads, activities, and outcomes in HubSpot Maintain strong CRM hygiene and follow established workflows Contribute to reporting on outreach activity, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution Document outreach sequences, qualification criteria, and SDR best practices Share insights on what messaging and approaches are resonating in the market Skills 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (internships or co-op experience welcome) Strong interest in digital marketing, advertising, or tech services Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Comfortable with outbound prospecting and resilient in handling rejections Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple outreach activities Proactive self-starter with a growth mindset Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is an asset Programmatic exposure/experience Agency experience Benefits Hybrid work + Summer Hour Fridays 3 weeks of annual paid vacation with tenure increases Additional paid holiday season break Paid sick leave Extended Health and Dental benefits + Wellness spending account Professional development funding Retirement savings matching Company Overview War Room is a strategic creative firm that provide its clients with a holistic approach to all their advertising and SEO needs.
