[Remote] Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Netrix Global is looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer with expertise in Power BI and data modeling. The successful candidate will be pivotal in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making across the Managed Services organization. Responsibilities • Transform raw data into structured information, analyze data to drive strategic decisions, enhance analytical and reporting functions, and supervise performance and quality assurance processes • Development of dashboards using specialized tools and platforms to create interactive and informative visualizations • Development of detailed and accurate reports to support data-driven decision-making • Intuitive design to ensure visualizations are easy to understand and use, following user-centered design principles • Development of indicators through KPIs and complex calculations for the creation of effective dashboards and reports • Crafting data narratives to transform information into coherent and persuasive stories that clearly communicate findings and insights • Creation of effective presentations to share knowledge with internal teams and external stakeholders • Profiling of end users to understand their needs and behaviors in order to design useful and accessible visualizations • Creation of visualization prototypes, enabling iterative testing with end users to improve design • Ability to build ETLs or communicate necessary requirements for their creation to third parties, ensuring the availability of required information • Skills for analyzing and loading data into visualization and/or analytics systems • Ability to conduct exploratory data analysis to discover patterns, trends, and anomalies • Data modeling capabilities • Teamwork capabilities to collaborate with other teams to meet business needs • Ability to generate clear documentation and reports on processes, methodologies, and results for future reference Skills • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field • 3 – 5 years of minimum experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization • Expert-level proficiency in DAX, SQL, Python, R, M, or other data manipulation and analysis programming languages • Advanced skills in Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate complex financial models and perform data analysis using advanced functions, such as pivot tables, data validation, and macros • Strong working knowledge of Power BI and Quiksight (AWS), including the ability to design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support analysis and decision-making • Strong problem-solving skills to help refine problem statements and solve them with the available data • Experience with data cleansing and normalization • Possess strong awareness of changes to data privacy requirements and maintenance, responsible and ethical data handling practices, and ensure classification and governance of rules and regulations are consistently applied in work activities and results • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, solve complex challenges, and operate in a fast-paced team environment Benefits • Swiss Medical: SMG-30 (family members included). • AWS and Azure certifications. • 99% discount in MercadoPago payments. • Internet and connectivity. • Competitive salary and benefits. • English in company. • Ability to work remotely. • An awesome learning environment for you to develop.
