[Remote] Fiber GIS Specialist/CTX Fiber Designer
Major Responsibilities • Preparing fiber (FTTH and FTTB) design drawings and revisions in ArcGIS software and AutoCAD • Preparing BOM, splicing diagrams, and fiber allocation sheets • Follow client and jurisdictional standards on simultaneous projects • Assist with placing utility design tickets (811), utility data compilation, analysis, and reporting of geographic information from various government and private data sources Qualifications Required • 2-3+ years’ experience in GIS mapping • 2-3+ years’ experience with FTTH and FTTB design • Strong knowledge of ESRI software (ArcGIS Desktop/ArcGIS Pro/ArcGIS Online) • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, etc. • Excellent communication skills - customer service and team oriented • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Strong attention to detail – ability to review own work for accuracy and completion • Strong organizational abilities to work on multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet strict deadlines • Highly responsible, resourceful, and self-motivated Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
