[Remote] Head of Platform Engineering, AI Coaching (Hands-On)

They are seeking a Head of Engineering to lead the development of an AI coaching platform, guide architectural decisions, and mentor a distributed engineering team. Responsibilities • Lead and grow the engineering team while maintaining a high-performance and supportive culture • Act as the lead engineer when needed including writing production code, designing architecture, and assessing technical tradeoffs • Drive the buildout of the AI coaching platform including personalization, conversational intelligence, and model integration • Partner with Product leadership to align technical decisions with user and business priorities • Ensure performance, reliability, security, and scalability across systems • Promote clear development processes including testing, documentation, code review, and continuous improvement Skills • Experience leading and scaling engineering teams in a growth-stage environment • Strong hands-on engineering skills and the ability to write and review high-quality production code • Proven architectural and systems design experience • Collaborative and clear communicator with the ability to influence direction at both strategic and technical levels • Experience building or integrating AI or ML powered features Company Overview • Quantum Search Partners provides recruiting, and consulting services.
