The Insurance Product Analyst will support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of insurance products and underwriting partner portfolio while analyzing market data and ensuring product compliance and competitiveness. Responsibilities Own market and competitor benchmarking to identify and present new product opportunities that align with our strategic growth objectives Develop and prepare comprehensive business cases, product proposals, and regulatory filings to support the launch and revision of profitable products Input Insurance Policy Documentation into internal tools and develop and maintain product documentation Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets related to policy data, claims experience, and customer demographics to deliver actionable insights that drive product performance Build and maintain detailed reports and dashboards to track key product KPIs (e.g., loss ratios, customer uptake, profitability) Submit Underwriters Bordeaux and support data reconciliations, ensuring data integrity for financial reporting Collaborate with Compliance and Legal teams to review and file product-related documents Support preparation of Quarterly Business Reviews with underwriting partners Review and respond to requests of underwriters about finance reconciliation, billing topics, etc Coordinate and organise audit documents Provide practical support and assistance across various projects involving the insurance team Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field 1+ years of experience (internships or co-op programs count) in the financial services or insurance industry. Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply Technical Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, visualizations, etc,...) and SQL or statistical software (R, Python, SAS) Analytical Thinking: Eagerness to interpret basic data sets and identify trends; demonstrating strong problem-solving potential Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate findings A proactive, problem-solving mindset: You anticipate challenges, propose pragmatic solutions, and drive issues through to resolution Adaptability and resilience: You are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities Strategic thinking with execution focus: You can balance long-term commercial direction with the ability to deliver on immediate priorities Deep commitment to collaboration: You embody our value of teamwork by working effectively across actuarial, underwriting, sales, product, finance and operations to achieve shared goals Attention to Detail: Meticulous and highly organized, with a commitment to producing accurate work Basic familiarity with insurance concepts, product lines (e.g., P&C, Life, Health), and the product development process is a benefit Benefits Flexible Work Environment - Our teams are hybrid.
