[Remote] IT - Technical Support Specialist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PAX Programs Incorporated is an industry leader in personal development, and they are seeking a part-time Technical Support Specialist. This role involves handling technical support, web programming, and basic editing tasks for online course participation. Responsibilities • Updating customer-facing webpages (html, css, php) • Maintaining and updating php functions used by webpages • Includes queries to SQL database (mysql) • Maintaining and updating small javascript/react webpages • Complete Admin system data management (Creating new products, prices, skus, etc.) • Basic video editing (removing sections and re-exporting) • Basic image manipulation (cropping, resizing) • Troubleshooting and responding to internal and customer tech support requests via email Skills • Needs to know HTML and CSS • Able to learn PHP, SQL (mysql), and javascript • At least 2 years related experience and/or training • Experience with personal computer equipment • Advanced personal computer word processing, spreadsheet, database & Windows skills • Analytical skills to sufficiently assess problems or unusual situations and develop solutions • Ability to independently perform all duties of the position efficiently and effectively • Strong communication and training skills, including ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users • History of Ethical Conduct • Possession of a computer, phone, and have a reliable internet connection • Authorization to work in the United States • Working understanding of the company, customers, programs, products and individual department operations, goals and objectives relating to Computer & Communications Services, preferred • Familiarity updating and upgrading ios and android apps, is a plus Company Overview • PAX Programs Incorporated's Mission is altering Society's Culture by Transforming the way Women and Men relate to each other and themselves.
