Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sherpa 6, Inc. is seeking a talented Multimedia Curriculum Designer to join their innovative team. The role involves transforming instructor-led and eLearning training content into engaging digital learning experiences using best practices in instructional design and educational technologies. Responsibilities • Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to analyze training needs, define project goals, and translate complex technical information into accessible learning content • Design and develop interactive learning modules, asynchronous courses, and multimedia elements (videos, infographics, animations, motion graphics, audio, graphics) using tools like Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, Vyond, and Adobe Creative Suite • Convert instructor-led materials (presentations, facilitator guides, handouts) into engaging, modular online experiences aligned with adult learning best practices • Develop and produce customer-facing enablement assets, marketing content, user guides, and performance support materials, ensuring branding and visual standards are met • Apply accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG) to all learning content and support institutional, regulatory, or client requirements for inclusivity • Manage multiple concurrent projects using agile or iterative project management methodologies; communicate clearly and meet delivery commitments in fast-paced environments • Provide consultation and best-practices guidance to teams deploying multimedia or digital content across functions (training, ops, marketing, faculty, customer experience) • Recommend and integrate emerging technology (AI-based tools, gamification, simulations, AR/VR) to enhance learner engagement and more efficient training development • Are committed to accessibility (Section 508/WCAG) in all digital deliverables • Are familiar with video servers/hosting (Vidyard), and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Smartsheet) • Perform quality assurance reviews, content updates, and continuous improvement based on usability data and learner feedback • Test and troubleshoot eLearning modules for SCORM/xAPI compliance and cross-platform/LMS compatibility (Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, custom solutions) Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Multimedia Production, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field (equivalent experience considered) • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, multimedia curriculum development, or digital content production for adult learners • Subject matter expert in Microsoft Office applications • Comfortable with written communication and documentation • Self-starter with the ability to dive in with minimal direction • Flexible, with experience working in a fast-paced environment • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills • Proficiency with eLearning tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or LMS platforms • Must obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance • Must be a US citizen • Must pass a background check and drug screening • Recommend and integrate emerging technology (AI-based tools, gamification, simulations, AR/VR) to enhance learner engagement and more efficient training development • Are committed to accessibility (Section 508/WCAG) in all digital deliverables • Are familiar with video servers/hosting (Vidyard), and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Smartsheet) • Perform quality assurance reviews, content updates, and continuous improvement based on usability data and learner feedback • Test and troubleshoot eLearning modules for SCORM/xAPI compliance and cross-platform/LMS compatibility (Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, custom solutions) Benefits • We offer a competitive benefits package, covering the cost of medical for you and your family; • We also offer dental, vision, health and wellness benefits and a generous retirement savings plan. • We extend a generous PTO policy.
