Position: Remote Teachers of Record (Spanish) Overview Join to apply for the Remote Teachers of Record (Spanish) role at Fairfield County Educational Service Center. Title: Innevato EDU Remote Teacher of Record (Summer School and/or School Year) Current Positions Hired Based on Need (all remote & part time): • Spanish (7-12) Qualifications • Possession of baccalaureate or higher degree in a specific content area • Valid Ohio License • Required criminal background check • Meets USCIS I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Reports To Superintendent/Designee This is a vendor contract as needed by an Innev Ato EDU partner school district. The school district has the option to add an Innev Ato EDU teacher of record to the service contract / MOU. This teacher will be hired through the Fairfield County ESC. These teachers will be highly qualified and will teach, support and evaluate all students in an online course. Performance Responsibilities • Successfully complete an online “Best Practices of Online Teaching” professional development course prior to or within the first week of teaching the course. Training will be provided by the FCESC. • Publish and evaluate no less than 90% of the Innev Ato EDU course content. • Communicate with students via the most efficient method (i.e., LMS, telephone, email, face-to-face, video conferencing, etc.) on a regular basis. • Monitor students and intervene when a student is inactive for more than one week. • Monitor and engage in online discussions within the course. • Evaluate student submissions. Provide student-specific feedback for all lessons. • Maintain records on student progress/grades. • Create a partnership with each student’s home district and communicate/collaborate in a manner that best fits the students’ needs. • Provide additional support and intervention to the student, and communicate with parents/guardians, guidance counselors, and other stakeholders, especially if a student is not making adequate progress and/or is at risk of failing the course. • Participate in quality assurance discussions and provide feedback regarding instructional design and delivery of the course with Innev Ato EDU leadership team. • Attend and engage in professional development and one-on-one sessions and apply learning to the course development support process. • Collaborate with the team. • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner. • Undertakes continuing professional study including participation in professional organizations, enrollment in university-level classes, and review of current literature pertaining to children with disabilities. • Attends in-service training sessions, as assigned by Fairfield County ESC Supervisor or Superintendent/Designee. • Complies with policies and procedures established by the Fairfield County ESC and the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators. Required Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes, And Other Responsibilities • Knowledge of Ohio’s Learning Standards and IDEA Requirements. • Ability to work effectively with others. • Ability to communicate ideas and directions clearly and effectively both orally and in writing. • Organizational and problem solving skills. • Ability to generate correspondence independently. • Respects confidences shared by the staff and operates in a discreet manner in all related matters. • Performs other tasks and assumes responsibilities as the Superintendent/Designee directs.
