School-Based Specialist – Client Onboarding (In-Person) Description As the demand for youth therapy services within our School-Based Counseling Program continues to rise, timely and efficient onboarding of new clients is essential to ensuring students receive the care they need with minimal disruption to their daily lives. Our school-based program is designed to offer individual and group therapy services to students within their school settings during school hours. The School-Based Specialist – Client Onboarding plays a key role in supporting the success of the School-Based Counseling Program. Reporting to the Director of School-Based Services, this role focuses primarily on completing intake assessments, coordinating care for new school-based clients, and managing the school-based client list to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process. Responsibilities • Conduct initial intake assessments for school-based clients, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing. • Assist with managing the school-based client list to ensure timely onboarding and assignment of students. • Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding-related communications with caregivers and clinicians. • Collaborate closely with internal team members to coordinate scheduling and service delivery. • Assist in identifying and addressing barriers to care during the intake and onboarding process. • Maintain updated documentation in alignment with organizational and ethical standards. • Attend regular team meetings with the School-Based Services team. • Attend staff and applicable team meetings. • Maintain caseload expectations by conducting evidence-based individual therapy and group therapy sessions during the school year and summer months. • Support quality assurance processes related to client onboarding and program growth. • Contribute to the development and refinement of onboarding processes and workflows. • Additional tasks may be assigned by the Director of School-Based Services as needed for the success of the program and the onboarding process. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following: • Valid mental health licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, LPCC, Clinical Psychology PsyD/PhD – independent or provisional) • Must hold an active IN or IL license to practice mental health • National Provider Identifier (NPI) number • Completed Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) application • Individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy ($1mil/$3mil) • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills • Experience working with youth in clinical or school-based settings preferred.
