Team US Fixed Income Technology - Front Office Electronic Trading Role Description Seeking a Senior-Level Technologist specializing in E-Trading technology with at least 10+ years of experience implementing large-scale E-Trading applications across multiple geographical regions. Responsibilities • Design and develop a proprietary, high-performance Fixed Income E-Trading platform encompassing all fixed-income products. • Collaborate with traders, sales, and quantitative analysts to specify and build real-time trading applications that electronically execute orders across multiple ECNs. • Work with business management and desk heads to drive project requirements and prioritization. • Drive implementation and design with an emphasis on high availability, scalability, and reusability. • Promote framework reusability across all businesses. • Balance time-to-market with governance, compliance, and audit mandates. • Mentor junior developers. Education BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Required Background • 10+ years of experience in front office system development supporting the US Rates E-Trading business. • In-depth knowledge of US Rates Product Offering (Treasury, Swap, and Agency). • Strong understanding of Dealer-to-Client market protocol (TradeWeb, Bloomberg, MarketAxess). • Understanding of Dealer-to-Dealer market structure. • Experience building auto-quoter and auto-hedger. • Ability to learn and adapt quickly. • Strong collaboration skills with business managers, traders, and developers. • Excellent problem-solving skills. Required Technical Skills • Extensive experience in Java and multithreading programming. • Knowledge of low latency and event-driven programming. • Familiarity with Spring and Spring Boot. • Microservice-based architecture experience. • Unix shell scripting. • Databases: Oracle, Postgres, MSSQL. • Tools: Atlassian Suite (Jira/Bitbucket/Bamboo/Confluence), Maven, strong DevOps skills. Desired Experience/Skills • Broad knowledge of Financial IT environments. • Previous experience in a similar Front Office role. • Fixed Income Credit & Rates trading system experience. • Knowledge of ION MarketView API and platform. • Familiarity with AMPS, KDB, messaging systems (JMS, MQ, Tibco), Ion Trading, FIX, and similar technologies. • Knowledge of Python, HTML5, React/JavaScript/Openfin. • Experience with AWS services (S3, RedShift, Postgres, EC2, Glue). • Knowledge of Kafka (AWS MSK or Confluent).
