The Senior Application Engineer is a critical member of our sales team. You will help clients and prospects understand how SilMan's service and process add unique value to their projects. The SilMan Sales Team A complete team of in-house professionals to support sales efforts, including: • Engineering: Collaborate with our estimating, design, and applications team to develop winning proposals. • Marketing: Marketing to build focused content and campaigns. • Project Management: Project managers are closely involved in final closing to ensure efficient hand-off and execution. • Sales: The business development team meets regularly to collaborate, strategize, discuss leads, and continually improve materials and processes to identify opportunities and improve the sales cycle. As the Senior Applications Engineer, you will expand on SilMan's success by identifying opportunities and preparing winning proposals for projects like these: Multi-site improvements for OnTrac's West Coast network, including System Expansion in Buckeye, Ariz., and a new system in Vancouver, Wash.; National program for leading Automated Singulation Solution; Pack-out system for ThredUP; Shipping system for Levi Strauss. Service Area and Residence The Senior Applications Engineer is a remote opportunity reporting to our Tupelo, Mississippi office. Some travel will be required for this role, including but not limited to project site surveys, installation site visits, and potential factory training.
