Social Media Manager and Content Creator

Grocery Monkey is a content brand that helps people discover the best-tasting snacks, drinks, and grocery items; especially the ones hiding in plain sight. Think of it like a fun, snack-obsessed guide through the aisles of the grocery store. The purpose is to: • Find and review great-tasting consumer packaged goods (CPGs) so people don’t waste money on bad snacks. • Educate consumers on how to navigate grocery stores, read labels, and make smarter choices. • Keep followers updated on cool new products, trends, and hidden gems. We call our community Monkeys, and we’re building something playful, smart, and honest for people who love to snack and explore. The goal is to turn Grocery Monkey into the go-to page for food finds—starting with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and eventually growing into merch, brand partnerships, and even our own product line. We’re looking for a creative and reliable Content Producer to join the Grocery Monkey team. Your main responsibility will be to record and edit and post 7 short videos per week. You’ll be key in shaping the visual identity and tone of the brand. Responsibilities: • Edit 30–90 second TikTok videos using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar • Add captions, sound effects, transitions, and branded overlays • Post 7 videos per week to TikTok using pre-planned schedule • Write short captions, add hashtags, and upload with thumbnail/frame selection • Occasionally add voiceovers or soundbites provided by the host • Collaborate with the Grocery Monkey team to refine format and grow the brand Requirements: • Strong editing skills for TikTok/short-form content • Familiarity with CapCut or similar mobile-friendly editors • Understanding of current TikTok trends, sounds, pacing, and humor • Reliable, organized, and consistent with deadlines • Good communicator (via text or email) • Bonus: Based in Gainesville and/or interested in snacks, food, or grocery culture Compensation: • $50 per fully edited and uploaded video • 7 videos/week = $350/week • Paid weekly or bi-weekly (depending on agreement) Job Types: Part-time, Internship Pay: $50.00 - $350.00 per week Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week Benefits: • Flexible schedule Work Location: In person Apply tot his job
