Job Summary Progressive Technology is looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to take ownership of our digital presence across multiple platforms. This fully remote role is perfect for self-starters, content-savvy professionals, and travel enthusiasts who want to combine creativity with flexibility. As our Social Media Manager, you will play a key role in building our brand voice, growing our audience, and engaging communities across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter (X), Facebook, and emerging platforms. Key Responsibilities • * Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with company goals and branding. • * Create, schedule, and publish original, high-quality content including images, videos, stories, and posts. • * Manage day-to-day interactions and respond to comments, messages, and community feedback. • * Analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversion, etc.) and adjust strategies for continuous improvement. • * Collaborate with internal marketing, design, and product teams to ensure brand consistency and message alignment. • * Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, best practices, and competitor activities. • * Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns (optional based on experience). • * Organize virtual content calendars and campaign timelines for key initiatives and launches. • Required Skills and Qualifications • * Proven experience managing multiple social media platforms in a professional setting. • * Strong content creation abilities (copywriting, graphic design basics, short-form video editing). • * Solid understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, etc.). • * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • * Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects remotely. • * Creative thinker with an eye for aesthetics and branding. • * Familiarity with hashtags, trends, reels, and viral content creation techniques. • Experience • * Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in social media marketing or digital content creation. • * Experience in managing influencer partnerships, online communities, or brand ambassador programs is a plus. • * Background in working for start-ups, remote companies, or digital-first organizations is preferred. • Working Hours • * Fully remote with flexible hours — ideal for individuals living in various time zones or frequently traveling. • * Must be available for occasional virtual meetings during core team collaboration hours. • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • * Deep understanding of platform algorithms and how to maximize reach and engagement. • * Ability to translate brand values into digital storytelling. • * Basic photo and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, etc.). • * A growth mindset with a data-driven approach to optimizing content. • * Knowledge of paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn (preferred but not mandatory). • Benefits • * 100% remote work with a work-from-anywhere policy. • * Flexible schedule and freedom to manage your workflow. • * Opportunities for upskilling, certifications, and growth into a Head of Social role. • * Exposure to international markets and trending digital tools. • * Paid time off and mental wellness days. • * Performance-based bonuses and project incentives. • Why Join Progressive Technology?
