The Software Engineering Intern will work on open source projects like Statue and Collector, contributing to the development, integration, and testing of software while collaborating with the founding team and the open source community. Responsibilities Develop, integrate, and test open source software Collaborate with other interns, the Accretional team, and the open source community Create demonstrations and showcases for Statue, Collector, and Accretional's products Participate in public events, both Accretional's, and through third parties Develop AI workflows and agents to automate website, backend, database, and product creation Skills Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field Experience in programming with languages like Go and Typescript Excellent and creative problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Most importantly: motivated by a desire to learn, and excited to work closely with engineers in a scrappy startup Familiarity with one or more of the following areas: Svelte and SvelteKit, cloud backend development, containerization, build/test tooling, devops, golang, protobuf/grpc, sqlite Benefits Housing and relocation assistance for those not local to the San Francisco Bay Area.
