Sr. Data Analyst

RYZ is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst with expert SQL skills and deep expertise in product analytics to drive data-driven decision making across our product organization. This role will focus on user behavior analysis, A/B testing, retention analytics, and customer lifecycle insights. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills combined with business acumen to translate complex data into actionable product insights. Key Responsibilities Product Analytics: Analyze user behavior, feature adoption, product performance metrics, and user engagement patterns A/B Testing: Design, implement, and analyze product experiments and A/B tests to optimize user experience and product features Retention Analysis: Build and maintain customer retention models, cohort analysis, and churn prediction models Customer Lifecycle: Analyze customer journey, lifecycle stages, conversion funnel optimization, and user segmentation Advanced SQL Analysis: Perform complex data analysis using advanced SQL techniques for product insights Dashboard Development: Create and maintain product analytics dashboards and automated reports Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, marketing, and customer experience teams Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide analytical support for product team decisions, feature launches, and strategic initiatives Required Qualifications 5-7 years of data analysis experience with focus on product analytics and user behavior Expert SQL Skills: Advanced SQL proficiency including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization A/B Testing Expertise: Strong background in experimental design, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing platforms Product Analytics: Deep experience with product analytics platforms (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics) and product metrics Statistical Analysis: Solid understanding of statistical significance, confidence intervals, power analysis, and experimental design Data Visualization: Proficiency with creating clear, actionable dashboards and reports using BI tools User Behavior Analysis: Experience analyzing user journeys, conversion funnels, and behavioral patterns Business Intelligence: Experience with Looker, Tableau, or similar BI platforms (Omni experience a plus) Preferred Qualifications Retention Analytics: Experience with cohort analysis, churn modeling, customer lifetime value, and retention optimization Programming Skills: Python or R for advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and automation Digital Product Experience: Background in consumer-facing digital products, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses Customer Experience: Understanding of customer journey mapping, CX metrics, and user experience analytics Advanced Analytics: Experience with machine learning models for user behavior prediction and segmentation Data Warehousing: Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar cloud data warehouse platforms dbt Knowledge: Familiarity with dbt for data transformation and modeling Communication Skills: Strong ability to present findings and recommendations to product and business stakeholders About RYZ Labs: RYZ Labs is a startup studio built in 2021 by two lifelong entrepreneurs.
