Position: Sr. Performance Tester (Tricentis NeoLoad)-Mostly Remote Sr. Performance Tester (Tricentis Neo Load) – Mostly Remote Compensation: $78.00/hr W2, $93.63/hr C2C. Local candidates only: Washington DC area, Maryland, North Carolina, Delaware, West Virginia, Southern NJ. Final face‑to‑face interview will take place in Reston, VA and the role requires onsite presence 1–2× per month. Our client is seeking a Performance Test Engineer with extensive knowledge in both Tricentis Neo Load and Load Runner, responsible for creating, maintaining, modifying, and managing automated performance testing scripts. The engineer will collaborate with systems and development teams to troubleshoot performance and scalability issues. Essential Functions • Define and develop performance test plans and automated scripts using industry standard testing tools. • Execute performance tests, analyze and evaluate test results; generate performance metric reports and provide recommendations. • Assist with analyzing test and operational problems to determine presence and scope of potential code defects, reporting errors through a structured defect tracking process. • Communicate weekly with management verbally and via written status reports regarding potential problems and concerns. • Review and analyze business and system requirements and specifications for performance testability. • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of testing tools; expand business knowledge of product benefits, corporate policies, division and department goals and procedures. • Work with functional testers and development counterparts to ensure adequate coverage for upcoming releases and keep up‑to‑date with system changes that impact performance testing. • Assist and coordinate with customers, research, analysis and proposed solutions to test discrepancies and test scenarios; verify satisfaction of internal and external customer requests and obtain information to create test data. • Participate in project work group meetings (internal/external peer reviews, walkthrough, status meetings, PI Planning, etc.). • Participate in system architecture change reviews and assessment of system capacity impacts.
