We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as a Staff Engineer - iOS remotely or in Logan, UT. ROLE COMMITMENTS Architect and drive complex systems that span multiple teams or product areas, balancing performance, scalability, and maintainability Collaborate across functions and platforms to ensure cohesive mobile experiences, bridging efforts between Android, iOS, backend services, and hardware integrations Influence engineering strategy and roadmaps, identifying long-term risks, platform opportunities, and system-level improvements Elevate engineering standards across the organization, leading by example in design, code quality, and mobile development practices Mentor senior and lead engineers, developing technical leaders and supporting team-wide growth through pairing, reviews, and knowledge sharing ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the development of high-quality and scalable native iOS applications that meet business requirements Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop technical solutions and ensure the best user experience Define technical design and architecture for native iOS applications Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews and design discussions Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications Mentor and coach Junior and Mid-level iOS Developers Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in iOS development Work with Principal Engineers and Product Managers to develop technical solutions Follow best practices in software development Qualifications Education and Basic Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field 10+ years of experience in native iOS development Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns Experience with iOS development frameworks such as UIKit, Swift, or Objective-C Experience with integrating third-party libraries and APIs Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON Experience with version control systems such as Git Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and collaboration skills Experience with Agile methodologies Experience with leading development teams Originally posted on Himalayas
