Additional compensation up to $80,000 based on experience/higher education and certifications. • Day Shift Schedule – Monday - Friday • Collaborative Environment – Work alongside experienced educators, BCBAs, and school leaders • Career Development – Opportunities to lead training, consult on systems-level change, and shape national education initiatives • Mission-Driven Work – Help improve outcomes for students with diverse learning and behavioral needs • Creativity & Autonomy – Design and deliver innovative training and consultation services • National Network – Connect with Devereux’s education and clinical teams across the country About the Role: As a National Education Training and Consulting Specialist, you’ll work in a multidisciplinary setting to support Devereux schools and professionals. You will also: • Design and deliver engaging professional development sessions using active training methodologies. • Provide consultation and technical support to education directors, teachers, counselors, and school leadership teams. • Conduct assessments of school/classroom climate and individual student behavior using behavioral frameworks. • Analyze data to inform and guide interventions at both individual and systemic levels. • Support the implementation of curricular resources and academic interventions. • Travel regularly to multiple Devereux centers across various states for on-site consultation, observation, and training. • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the continuous improvement of the National Education Department. This role includes regular travel to Devereux centers across multiple states for direct consultation, observation, and training. Qualifications: To qualify, the Training & Consulting Specialist will have: • Education: Master’s degree in Education required; Special Education Certification strongly preferred. BCBA certification or eligibility is preferred. • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in special education, including a minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching. Proven experience in behavioral and systems-level consultation, training, and public speaking. • Skills: Exceptional communication, customer service, collaboration, and leadership abilities. Demonstrated capacity to work independently, adapt to dynamic environments, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
