Join SunFoods as our Senior Brand Manager and take the lead in shaping a challenger brand in the U.S., driving breakthrough launches and market growth in one of the most dynamic food categories. SunFoods SunFoods, a rice milling, distribution and marketing company, was established in 2008. SunFoods is the owner of the Hinode brand, which was created by the California-based Rice Grower’s Association in the 1930s. Hinode is based in the Central Valley of California where rice has been produced for over 100 years. With international partners in rice growing regions around the world, Hinode offers a full range of domestic and imported rice varieties and is growing significantly. What You Will Do As part of a larger organization, SunRice Group out of Australia, SunFoods is the US based business and you will lead SunFoods’ brand growth in the U.S., driving innovation from development to launch across new product offerings. You’ll own go-to-market planning, partnering closely with Sales, R&D, Operations, and agencies to bring new products to key retailers. You’ll manage A&P budget, oversee digital shelf accuracy, and track performance to optimize results. This is a highly autonomous role with full brand ownership in a lean, entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities: • Delivers key budget financial targets (NSV, NPBT) and market share growth. • Developing strategy and marketing plans based on strong consumer and market understanding. • Responsible for execution of marketing plans, achieving agreed KPIs and partnering with agencies and our sales teams. Includes retail media and shopper marketing initiatives. • Execute the consumer led innovation pipeline and project management through to market execution including product launch plans. • Manage the digital shelf to ensure optimized physical availability for our branded portfolio. • Manage the A&P budget. • Monitor performance analysis and report on brand performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize ROAS, or ROI and achieve KPIs. • Serve as the brand ambassador, communicating brand vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders. Who You Are You are a highly motivated and driven brand marketer with strong commercialization experience and a passion for innovation. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and thrive in cross-functional, fast-paced settings. You use insights to drive decisions, collaborate naturally across teams, and operate with agility and ownership. Entrepreneurial, data-driven, and growth-minded, you’re energized by building brands in emerging markets. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or similar. • 7+ years of brand management experience, preferably within CPG. • Proven track record of successful brand building and campaign execution. • Proven track record of innovation development and execution. • Strong analytical skills and experience with consumer insights and data-driven decision making. • Excellent project management, organizational and communication skills. • Experience managing budgets and cross-functional teams in a remote capacity. • Passion for food, innovation, and consumer trends.
