Job Description Animal Medical Clinic of Wheaton located in Wheaton, IL is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our growing team! Licensure is not required. About Us: We are a 4-Doctor, AAHA Accredited, veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We provide care for a variety of pets including cats/dogs, small animals, exotics, and avians! We love to teach! Whether you are a tenured technician with years of experience, or a new technician looking to develop your skills, our team understands and values the importance of enhancing skills and will take the time to ensure you are properly trained and continue learning. Our team works hard to ensure we maintain a great culture promoting positivity, collaboration, and open communication. Monthly staff meetings are held to ensure we are on the same page, bring up new ideas, and discuss any relevant topics happening in the moment. In addition, the Hospital Manager schedules monthly 1:1's to check in with each team member individually - they want to know how YOU are doing and hear your ideas. About You: You are a Veterinary Technician that understands and is able to perform the foundational basics of a veterinary technician job and are interested in learning more. We love to teach!
