Video Editor to assist with both long-form and short-form content
I’m looking for an experienced video editor to assist with both long-form and short-form content. The long-form videos will typically range from 8–15 minutes, and I’ll also need short, engaging clips (30–60 seconds) for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Responsibilities: Edit 8–15 minute videos for clarity, flow, and overall professional quality Create multiple short clips from the long videos Add captions, subtitles, transitions, and basic graphics as needed Format videos for different social media platforms Requirements: Proven experience with video editing (please share portfolio examples) Ability to create engaging short-form clips from longer videos Familiarity with social media trends and platform-specific formats Proficiency in editing software Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Project Details: Initial test project: Edit one long video and produce 3–5 short clips Potential for ongoing weekly work (approx. 8–15 hours per week) depending on quality and reliability Budget: $15–$18 per hour Preferred Experience: Editing podcasts, interviews, webinars, or long-form social media content Creating clips optimized for engagement across platforms To Apply: Please provide examples of both long-form edits and short clips you’ve worked on.
