Franklin County Auditor's Office is dedicated to serving the community by ensuring fairness and accuracy in weight and measures across the county. They are seeking an Administrative Assistant I to provide administrative support, manage office correspondence, and coordinate office logistics. Responsibilities - Provides administrative support to administrative staff; greets visitors and directs them to appropriate areas/resources; answers telephone calls; checks mail and voicemail and responds to inquiries in a timely manner - Organize and log return mail to ensure records are kept up to date and office correspondence reaches constituents - Coordinates with PFM to secure any office furniture needed, get unwanted furniture returned to surplus when needed, request patching, painting and electrical issues to be addressed; coordinates deliveries; coordinates office and desk key distribution - Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to typing, photocopying, stocking printers, faxing, filing and taking notes during meetings; orders supplies; receives and sorts mail; responds to general inquiries; creates and maintains logs for vehicle usage; orders and maintains ink/toner supply; assists staff in replacement and recycling of used cartridges - Coordinate with Telecommunications within Data Center to ensure all voicemail and phones are properly set up and operational. Work with the phone team to address any malfunctions that may arise.
