**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling property and casualty (P&C) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone. You'll provide customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium, ensuring seamless communication and resolution. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention, you'll work closely with policyholders to review policies, update coverage, and make recommendations to meet their evolving needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Contact policyholders from our existing book of business through inbound/outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal
* Review and update policy to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer
* Counsel policyholders concerning appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance
* Make appropriate recommendations and/or changes to the policy and gain policyholder acceptance to process the changes
* Receive and respond to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity (changes to policy, coverage options, recommendations, and cross-selling) in EPIC
* Utilize knowledge of insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service
* Provide quotes on endorsements as requested
* Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms for insured, and act as liaison for information exchange between customer and insurance companies
* Process changes to policies within EPIC as well as submit changes to specific companies, following up with company to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner
* Review policy information and references company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims
* Mail insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer
* Recognize cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtain quote information
* Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements**
* High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment
* Property and Casualty insurance license required
* Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
