We are working with a small e-commerce business on a part-time interim controller need. This part-time controller position will average 10-15 hours a week, with a max of 20 hours/week. This is a fully remote position, that will be hands-on with month-end close tasks, COGS and inventory review, budget to actuals, revenue review (validation of journals), and building out procesess and procedures/SOPs.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a controller in small-medium sized organizations where no task is too small (ability to be hands-on is required)
• Sage Intacct expeience is highly preferred
• Ability to manage validation/automation tools (i.e. their automated journal entry tool) and help define processes around them
• Process oriented
• Ability to start right away and commit to 20 hours a week
