The role involves managing financial records, supporting audits, and assisting with corporate support services while ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
Responsibilities
- Act as a financial point of contact for all A/P and A/R related Month-end Responsibilities: Execute credit card reconciliations, bank reconciliations, etc
- Maintain financial records and support Finance Manager in completing annual audits
- Perform Budget Control Reports (BCR) preparation, participate in internal meetings as well as project docket management and maintenance
- Assistance with preparation and administration of Audi financial process
- Enforcement of internal controls of processes and procedures relating to expense and docket approvals, and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting principles and standards
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings on a continuous basis
- Assist in management of timesheet process of employees
- Support onboarding of new employees with guidance on Finance policy & processes
- Provide assistance in the planning and execution of company events
- Ad hoc as requested
Skills
- University degree in business
- 1+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
- Excellent PC and system skills, including Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, and able to prioritize tasks
- High standard of integrity and quality
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
- Ability to work effectively with a team and individually
