As a Legal Transcriptionist, you will produce verbatim transcripts for our clients with standard turnaround time of 5 to 7 days, with some jobs available at higher rates with shorter turnaround times, so accuracy and typing speed are critical. Must be a U.S. citizen ? Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ? Typing speed of at least 70 WPM ? Availability to commit to at least 20 physical hours per week ? At least 1 year of legal transcription experience ? Ability to ensure all transcripts meet or surpass 98% accuracy with strong attention to detail and research capabilities, as well as exceptional listening skills for verbatim transcription ? Exceptional written communication skills (proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar) ? Working knowledge of legal formatting requirements such as Bluebook OR any style guide such as GPO, GAO, Chicago, Associated Press, etc. ? Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word 2013 or newer Required Technology: ? Reliable high speed internet service ? Windows-based PC with Windows 7 or higher ? Microsoft Word 2013 or newer ? Quality headphones ?
