OnSite Specialist - Iowa City, IA - 3rd Shift

As an OnSite Specialist, you will manage equipment processing and preventative maintenance to ensure functionality, longevity, and patient safety. What you will do: • Manage and care for Customer’s equipment within the Sterile Processing Department (SPD). • Perform the cleaning, maintenance, and assembly of surgical instrumentation and equipment. • Use exceptional attention to detail in order to ensure surgeon’s equipment is clean, sterile, functioning properly, and ready for the next case. • Perform job functions while adhering to all industry and facility-specific standards and safety protocols. • Understand the unique challenges faced by caregivers to ensure that hospital staff can focus on patient care • Exert up to 50lbs of force occasionally and up to 20lbs of force constantly to move objects. • Remain standing or walking for an extended period of time. What You Need: Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. • Demonstrate excellent time management and problem-solving abilities. • Adapt to changing shifts and account needs with flexibility. • Obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., HSPA) and meet vendor credentialing requirements for all assigned accounts to ensure professional development and account compliance. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree preferred • Experience with medical device support or in a clinical environment. • Knowledge of operating room standards and sterile processing practices. • HSPA/CRCST certification. • Adhere to Stryker’s code of conduct and HIPAA regulations, maintaining patient confidentiality, high-quality standards, and demonstrating professionalism in work ethic, attitude, and appearance. Working hours are 10:30 PM until 7 AM The pay rate is $23.73 plus $1/hour shift premium. This role includes a comprehensive benefits package as part of our total rewards to support you.
