Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Fintech Operations & Systems Transformation

About Us TransBridge Advisors Inc. helps fintech companies and money service businesses (MSBs) successfully enter and operate in the U.S. market. We specialize in MSB licensing, banking relationships, and compliance infrastructure—providing a turnkey solution for global financial platforms. We are now entering a critical growth phase and are looking for a hands-on COO to help transform our operations into a scalable, system-driven organization. The Opportunity This is not a traditional COO role. We are looking for a builder and operator who can step into a fast-moving, founder-led environment and design, structure, and scale our entire operational engine. Your core mission will be to: • Eliminate founder dependency on day-to-day operations • Build systems that allow the company to scale efficiently and predictably What You’ll Be Responsible ForOperational Transformation • Analyze current workflows and identify operational inefficiencies • Design and implement scalable processes across all departments • Standardize operations to reduce reliance on ad hoc decision-making SOP & Systems Development • Build and document SOPs across: • Sales • Client onboarding • Account management • Marketing • Accounting • Licensing & compliance • Ensure all processes are structured, repeatable, and measurable Training & Enablement • Develop training systems for current and future team members • Ensure all roles can operate independently within defined systems • Create onboarding frameworks for rapid team scaling Team & Cross-Functional Leadership • Oversee and align multiple departments • Drive accountability and performance through KPIs • Improve communication and execution across teams Operational Infrastructure • Evaluate and optimize tools, systems, and workflows • Introduce automation where appropriate • Improve visibility through dashboards and reporting What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months) • Founder is no longer required in day-to-day operations • All core functions have documented SOPs and workflows • Teams operate independently with clear accountability • Onboarding, delivery, and execution become predictable and scalable • Operational bottlenecks are significantly reduced Who You AreMust-Have • 5–10+ years in operations, ideally in startups, fintech, or service-based businesses • Proven experience building or restructuring operational systems • Strong process-thinking and documentation skills (SOP creation is critical) • Experience working in fast-paced, unstructured environments • Ability to take ownership and execute without heavy oversight Strongly Preferred • Experience in fintech, payments, compliance, or financial services • Turnaround or “build-from-scratch” experience • Familiarity with MSB licensing, banking relationships, or regulatory environments • Experience managing remote or distributed teams What We’re Looking For (Traits) • Highly resourceful and execution-focused • Systems thinker (you don’t just fix problems—you build frameworks) • Comfortable with ambiguity and ownership • Direct communicator who can challenge and improve existing processes • Resilient and adaptable in a startup environment Why Join Us • Direct impact on building a high-growth fintech infrastructure company • Work closely with executive leadership • Opportunity to shape operations from the ground up • Fast-paced environment with real ownership and autonomy How to Apply Submit your resume along with a brief note answering: “Tell us about a time you built or fixed a broken operational system from scratch.
